When my cat Boris is hungry, it does not matter if its day or night, I must feed him. Such was the case early this morning when he dragged me out of bed. As I stumbled my way into the kitchen, Boris continued to beg for his food. I began to ‘meow’ along with him to show how obnoxious it sounded. That did not help.  So as I was opening the can, I told him, “You know its coming.” Immediately in my spirit, I heard the Holy Spirit gently remind me that I sometimes do the same thing.

Boris should know by now that I will supply all his needs. But he continues to beg. I wonder how many times I have canceled my prayers or undermined my own faith by continuing to ask and doubting my Heavenly Father.

God’s Word can be trusted. He cannot fail you. He loves you because He IS love. He will never let you down. Start thanking Him for the answer instead of fretting over the problem.

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
Hebrews 11:1 NLT

Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.
