Miracles of Jesus Summary
There are many reasons for the miracles of Jesus Christ. They confirmed the Word and proved that Jesus was the promised Messiah. Miracles produce hope and sometimes that provides enough motivation for someone to seek Jesus. And miracles, signs and wonders show that Jesus was doing the will of God, overcoming all evil with good.
John tells you that Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came to give you life in abundance (John 10:10). In essence, Jesus came to reverse the curse and give you the power to overcome all the power of the enemy (Acts 10:38).
When you study the miracles of Jesus, you are growing faith in your heart because faith comes from hearing the Word. You live by faith under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, expecting God to meet all your needs as He promised. But when a need arises that requires a miracle, out of the abundance of the faith stored in your heart, you can speak or pray boldly, release your faith, and receive your miracle!
